The Same Deep Water Blog tour!!

The Same Deep Water Synopsis:
Sometimes, believing the lies we tell ourselves is easier than dealing with the truth.

Once, I wanted to die. That was the night I met Guy.

The strange man with flowers stepped from the shadows and saved my life.

Guy. Dimpled smile. Body of a surf god. Smart and funny. Running out of time.

We became travelling companions through life, ticking off items on our bucket lists.

I’d hidden from happiness for years and kept my life under strict control. Guy showed me how to step into the world and experience more,

he brought light into the shadows and helped me through the darkness.

I became Phe again. I lived.

There’s just one problem.

We fell in love and this wasn’t part of our plans.

I thought we could face the future together, but Guy has a secret which changes everything.

My 4.5 star review of The Same Deep Water

Lisa writes great Rock Band books, and so this was a little out of left field for her, but in SUCH a good way. And THIS COVER. My God it is gorgeous! And the content of the story was truly amazing. It touched me in a way that was so great. I felt so many emotions while reading this book, and I am so glad I got the chance.

I wouldn’t say this is your run of the mill romance; there are some other aspects of it. Phe and Guy- the MC’s experiences are enough to wreck you. They are broken, and both have crazy secrets. And they are basically in the same deep water! In life we experience ups and downs, and boy did these two experience those. It also proves how strong people can be.

"Swimming the same deep water as Guy was hard, but struggling in the depths with him is better than losing myself amongst those who never find their way out of the shallows."

Phe is in pain. She has struggled with depression her entire life. And that is not an easy thing, especially when you can’t see a way out. She meets Guy, when she is LEGIT on the edge of a cliff. He helps her get off it and they slowly become friends. He has a “bucket list” he wants to complete, with 10 things on it. And wouldn’t you know it? #9 is saving someone! Guy is spontaneous, totally. If that is one word I have to describe him, it’s definitely spontaneous. He teaches Phe to live in the moment, and she does- because it makes Guy happy.

"Why are you always so serious in the dark?" I whisper and touch his cheek.
"Because you can't see me properly."
"I think I see more of you than you realise"

I love Lisa, and I think she needs to keep writing more of these thought provoking types of books, she ROCKS at it. And I can’t wait for more!! Thank you for granting me a copy in exchange for an honest review
