My 4 star review of Guiding Lights

I absolutely loved this story of second chances. It had a thrill/suspense element, it was super steamy hot. The hero was light your pants on fire, the heroine was someone that you totally felt for, all in all- a really great read. 

The story is set in Scotland, which I already adore books set in other places- besides the US, and it was awesome to even see the author make the hero Scottish himself, and his accent I read in my head, brought him to life. The book centers on the heroine, Nera and the choice that she made, that has changed her life forever. And she can never fully give herself away, because of what lurks in her past. 

Wolfe is the hero, and damn he is HOT like fire- I picture him as a Scottish Brock O'Hurn, with sexy man bun and all. He thinks of Nera as his light, guiding him away from the darkness, and as they get closer in the story, very real feelings develop. 
this is my first Jessica Florence book, but i can tell you it won't be my last! I thoroughly enjoyed the writing, the plot, the COVER<---- INSANE how beautiful. Everything about this book was fantastic. And even though the ending seemed just a tad rushed, I was overcome with adrenaline because of the heart stopping moments and I was glad to see a HEA! Check this book out- you won't regret it!
