My 4 star review of the Wedding of Molly O’Flaherty
I love Sierra, and quite honestly- the thought of historical
romance wasn’t too high on my reading scale- but she has definitely changed
that opinion. After reading the Markham Hall series, and falling in love with
Ivy and Julian, I jumped at the chance to read about Molly and Silas! I mean
this series almost makes you forget it is historical, and it ends up being more
erotic than anything- which I am totally ok with. The setting is described with
such honesty, and I can totally picture everything she describes. I loved it.
I actually think I liked Molly more than Ivy, but Julian more than Silas- if
that makes sense! Ha. She is totally modern- but in the historical sense-
because she is very strong and opinionated. She does not need to be pushed
around by anyone- even Silas, especially Silas. But what if she chooses to
submit to Silas?
Silas has to prove that is honorable and worthy of Molly, and that is quite the
task, especially from the last book. I feel like he does a lot of growing in
these novellas, and he definitely will go down swinging for the woman he loves,
and that happens to be Molly.
I can’t wait for more from Sierra, even in the historical
genre- because she has such a good voice, no matter the subject. This book was
exceptional. And I hope more historical pieces come out of this London Lovers
series.
