My 4 star review of 5 stages of Riley Winters

I freaking loved this cover, and the synopsis was like- YES PLEASE!!!! So I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out that I really enjoyed this book! And the authors’ writing was fantastic. I enjoyed it so much so, I read it from start to finish on a Saturday with no breaks!!

Riley is a single mother, and has a child who is 3 named River. So cute. I love single mother stories, because hopefully there is going to be a guy who swoops in to help. And there is! But River has some speech problems, and that is when the hero comes in Liam. He is totally gorgeous and definitely swoon worthy, and he has Riley weak in the knees. He really connects with River- and that makes him even more attractive to Riley. Liam wants to get to know Riley in the man and woman sense, and not the therapist, patients mom way.

Riley is still dealing with her douche nozzle of an ex, Aaron- so she is technically going through stages in her life. She has so much stress due to Aaron and having a three year old, and being a single mother. She is independent but she keeps a load on her shoulders to herself and doesn’t ask for help when she needs it. I really enjoyed this story and the evolution of Riley. And also the relationship between Liam and River was enough to melt hearts- and the relationship between Riley and Liam was enough to melt panties!

RD Berg lives in the great state of Texas with her three boys who drive her to the brink of insanity most days. She loves to read, write and watch her two favorite shows, Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead. When she isn’t enthralled with a novel or a gory show, you can find her in the stands loudly cheering on her boys at their basketball and football games. She has three strong beliefs in life; Vanilla cake and Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream should be a major food group, Halloween should be celebrated every month, and Harry Potter’s birthday should be a national holiday.
