Adam James is a corn-fed, Nebraska raised, piece of man meat with a chiseled body and baby face. He is in desperate need of a paycheck and will do just about anything to get one, including stripping down to his skivvies and lathering up in baby oil.
Solo Cohan is a quirky hipster with a strong work ethic, raised by two gay dads who are head over heels in love with Harrison Ford and Star Wars, hence the name, Solo. She works for Teeg Model Management, the same modeling agency that decides to book Adam as their next up and coming model. Sparks ignite between her and Adam the minute her baby oil soaked hand connects with his practically naked body.
Even though Solo can't stop thinking about Adam during photo shoots, she quickly and awkwardly, shows Adam her distaste for male models and her inability to engage romantically with them. Adam is captivated by her nerdy talk and peculiar tendencies and sets out to make it his mission to turn the Star Wars loving hipster to the dark side, where mingling with models is widely arousing.

Guest reviewer- Alison's 5 star review!!
After reading The Virgin Romance Novelist it was clear to me that Meghan Quinn was funny as hell. I was so excited to get Newly Exposed to review because I knew it would not disappoint and I was right.
Adam James, is no model but needing cash to cover his mother's mounting hospital bills he turns to Teeg Models. After what he thinks is a disappointing first interview, Adam is sure he needs to find another way to help his mother
"in unison, they all busted up laughing and started typing away on their phones, most likely spreading the news about thy idiotic Nebraska kid who named his junk after a horny little pop-star. F* me."
Solo Cohen, an employee at Teeg meets Adam and there is an instant connection. It doesn't hurt that her first job is to put him in a pair of underwear and rub him down.
"I'm sorry, but this has been, by far, the strangest experience of my life. I was asked about my penis size, if I was into porn or something like that, and then they asked about me being naked on camera. When you said rub me down, I thought it was a test to see if I could get it up for everyone in the other room."
Unfortunately for Adam, Solo does not date models and when he lands the job at Teeg, she immediately puts the brakes on any sort of relationship that may be developing between them.
"Adam, as much as I like you and think you're bad ass with your terrible Yoda voice and love for Mahong, you're a model now; you belong to Teeg Model Management, and that means you are no longer available to me. We can be friends, but that's it. You're untouchable now."
Adam and Solo's banter is easy and light. They started as friends and their relationship grew from there. I loved both of these characters right away and I feel like I smiled though the whole book.
"She quirks her eyebrow at me and her mouth twitched to the side. "Are you really that vain that you need to see your test pictures?" "No, but I wanted to make sure you did me justice. I can't have you making me look fat."
Adam is the epitome of the good guy. He loves his mama and he's polite but holy hell when decides that nothing is going to stand in his way of getting Solo, panties will be melting.
"I want you and you alone, and I won't settle until I have you in my arms as mine. Do you understand that?" "Don't treat me like every other guy out there who only knows how to eye f* you, because I see the nerdy beautiful girl you are and I want nothing more than to have you in my life." Damn, that man makes me swoon!
This book hooked me from page one. I loved that Adam and Solo were geeky and quirky. I loved that Adam stayed grounded and true to himself. This book was funny and light one minute and hot as hell the next.
It's a must read.

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.
Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.
Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!
