A new song had just started, and I was enjoying his company when a voice behind me said, “Can I cut in?”
My head whipped around, even though I had no doubt whom the gravelly voice belonged to.
Michael was gracious. “I hate to share. But I suppose I have been hogging the most beautiful woman at the event.” He let go of my hand and stepped back with a gentlemanly nod. “Thank you for the dance, Delilah.”
Again Brody Easton had caught me off guard. Before I knew it, I was dancing with the arrogant jerk.  He wrapped his arms around me and pulled my body tight against his. Way tighter than Michael had held me.
“Good to see you again, Lois Lane.”
The man had balls; I had to give him that. I looked him straight in the eyes. “Nice to see you with clothes on, Easton.”
“Do you prefer me without?”
“I prefer you on the other side of the room.”
He chuckled. It was a hearty laugh. “That’s what happens sometimes when you decide you want to hang out in the men’s locker room.”
I tried to pull back, but he tightened his grip and held me in place. I craned my neck. “Let go of me.”
“No.”
“No?”
“That’s right. No.”
“I can scream at the top of my lungs.”
“I’d like to hear you scream.” His tone made it clear he meant he wanted me underneath him while I was doing the screaming.
“You’re an asshole. You know that?”
“I do. You asked me that yesterday. For a reporter, you should really try changing up your questions more frequently.”
My eyes bulged.
Easton shifted his hand down to the small of my back before twirling us around the dance floor. Figures the prick can dance.
“Are you seeing anyone?”
“You can’t be serious?”
He ignored my comment. “Would you like to have dinner tonight?”
“We just ate.”
“Dessert at my place, then?”
I couldn’t help but laugh. “Did you hit your head at the game yesterday?”
“On a diet, huh?”
“Yeah. That’s it. I don’t want to go to your place for dessert because I’m on a diet.”
“Well, that’s just a shame.”

My 5 star review of The Baller

 I love Vi- she is the perfect combo of sinful and sweet, and her characters and plot lines are to die for. I am so so glad I was able to read this story because I can't wait to give my review for it. 

 1st Quarter- 
Brody Easton, Quarter Back for the Steel- is a perv, in the best way. This dirty talking son of a gun, is the best hero I have read this year so far. He has it all. Awesome job, panty melting good looks, and a mouth on him that rivals everyone he meets. He also has a captivating back story that I freaking loved. He was definitely a player, a man's man, and all the women wanted him. Until he met Delilah. 

 2nd Quarter-
Delilah Maddox, Sports reporter in a male dominated field wasn't the easiest, but sports were her life. Her father was a football player, her fiance before he died was a football player. She has had a lot of tragedy in her life, and she decides to go on a sexual hiatus until she can get her head on straight, and no one fouls that up more than Brody. 

 3rd Quarter- 
The meet cute- Delilah meets Brody while doing an interview- and he decides to mess with her, because he likes to give the female population a "hard" time. He drops trou, and both lives change, for the better- but not without some angsty stuff, and another female from the past for Brody to worry about, but what he doesn't expect is another man to worry about from Delilah- even though this man is no longer with us. 

 4th Quarter-
All the trials and tribulations, and tests of relationships happen to these two. And i loved every second of it. I love a good football romance. Also- I really enjoyed the sex scenes, that sounds so stupid - cause DUH, it's a sex scene. But it's just the right amount of hot, sweet, and dirty- it's not 18 pages long and it's not a quick little paragraph, it's like Vi is the Goldilocks of sex scenes.

END ZONE DANCE !!! I can't wait for more from Vi, i would love an Indie book, she needs one too, hint hint!!
