With Every Heartbeat Blog tour!!

With Every Heartbeat Synopsis:
*New Adult Romance*
**Explicit Scenes and Language**

I used to think everything was black and white, truth or lie, easy or hard, that if I could just escape my strict, overbearing, abusive father, my life would be perfect. But since I’ve found a reason to risk his wrath and leave, to help a friend in need, I’ve come to realize everything I thought I knew is wrong.

Friends have their own agenda, honesty comes with a dosage of lie, easy doesn’t even exist, keeping secrets sucks, and love...love is the most painful thing of all.

Maybe if Quinn Hamilton hadn’t asked me to skip classes for the day and help him pick out an engagement ring for my best friend, I wouldn’t have fallen for him so completely on that sunny Tuesday afternoon and I wouldn’t feel so conflicted. But I did, and I can’t take it back, no matter how hard I try. So I have to deal with the fact that even I’m not as good, or honest, or caring as I’d always thought I was, and no matter what I do next, someone’s going to get hurt. Probably me.

-Zoey Blakeland

*Don't worry! The hero and heroine are not cheaters.*

My 4.5 star review of With Every Heartbeat!

I love Linda Kage and her Forbidden Men series. My favorite was To Professor, With Love- and this one comes in a close second, squeaking by Price of a Kiss. I couldn't wait to get to know Quinn, and how he fit into the Forbidden men. We get a glimpse in Professor, but i wanted more. The sweet innocent- but in this book, innocent no longer! I was so excited that I got a chance to read this early!! Thank you for a copy in exchange for an honest review!

Quinn Hamilton works at Forbidden, and is a back receiver on the college Football Team. Quinn is kind of the quiet one, an observer and listener if you will. He is pretty shy, and had a really bad childhood. OMG, your heart is going to BREAK into a million pieces for him, I know mine did. He recently lost his virginity to Cora and is dating her now- he is so elated to have finally found someone that accepts him, and his upbringing.

Cora- excuse me, but I hate her…. has a “best friend” and I use that term loosely, you will see why if you read- Zoey Blakeland. I FLUFFING LOVE Zoey. She is a FANTASTIC heroine. She is very shy, and a total loner- just like Quinn. She is raised and abused much the same way Quinn was. She escaped the wrath of her father to come to school with Cora, because she needed help- and to keep a HUGE life altering secret.

From the very beginning, I could tell Cora and Quinn were not right for each other. And it was CLEARLY made evident that Zoey would be perfect for each other. But, Quinn if anything, is very loyal. And he has to try so hard to extinguish feelings for Zoey. And Zoey has to do the same and not betray her best friend.

It seems like it’ll be a love triangle- with a crazy slow buildup- I loved it though! No one betrays or cheats- just an FYI!! I loved the change and development in the characters- they grew so much over the course of this book. It was amazing really.

And cameos from all the other characters- GAH!!! I loved it! Mason and Reece, Noel and Aspen, Pick and Eva- and Ten… possibly Caroline??

I am also DYING for Ten’s book, I think he might become my favorite- he was a great secondary character, and Quinn’s roomie- so we got to see lots of angst, between him and Caroline- Noel’s sister.

This book can be read as a standalone, but because of all the cameos- I suggest the whole dang series! It’s FAB!
