Think back to the exact moment when you fell in love for the first time.
That split second. That precise moment.
Can you remember it?
I can remember the day as if it were yesterday: from the light blue dress she wore, to her golden locks curved along her shoulders, down to the shocking tingle when our fingers touched. It was the happiest day of my life, and yet she didn’t even know I existed.
What if you had the chance to relive those moments? Would you take it?
I’ve waited almost ten years for her and my time has finally come.
This split second, this precise moment will change her life forever.

Little Moments (Second Chances Book 2) picks up 2 1/2 years after Little Things ends and is a standalone spinoff focusing on Raya and Duke's best friend Melanie Stevens.
Melanie met Roman met during a chance encounter at his family's bakery at age 17. Fast forward 10 years and Melanie is working as a nurse and Roman is a New York firefighter but Roman has never forgotten the blonde haired, emerald eyed beauty who slipped through his fingers all those years ago.
When Roman is injured in a building collapse and ends up recuperating in the burn unit where Melanie works the two are brought together again. While their story is not all sunshine and roses as the two struggle to find their way to each other, it does have a HEA thanks to Roman's meddling and big hearted aunt.
I really enjoyed this book. Melanie is a strong character who has been knocked down by love but is determined to get her happily ever after. Roman struggles to find his way after his accident, to figure out where he goes from here when it's likely his career and what he feels defines him as a man is gone. His reactions and emotions were spot on which makes his character so real. I liked that about him.
Little Moments certainly didn't have the dark elements that Little Things had but there were moments that I held my breath and waited to see what would happen next.
