ffp-cover
Jace Daniels is undeniably sexy. I mean who doesn’t like the muscular, tattooed type who’s all mysterious and brooding? But he’s on the run from something dangerous, and I have enough of my own problems. My existence has revolved around deception for as long as I can remember. Sometimes lying is like a damn disease...one I’ve been exposed to since birth. And as many times as I’ve dreamed about running away, my mother’s grasp on me runs deep. Phoebe Carson is hot as hell. She’s not just gorgeous, but quirky and a lot of fun. Even though I can’t afford to get involved with anyone, I feel a need to protect her from her psychotic ex. After a failed attempt to expose the truth about a fellow Marine’s disappearance, running was my only option. I don’t know how much time I have until they’ll arrest me, but I’m determined to make things right. When their paths collide, the passion is so explosive that neither of them can walk away. But once the truth unravels, proving it’s more than fate that brought them together, will Jace still decide she’s worth fighting for?

Excerpt
Someone clears their throat, slow and deliberate. Our heads all swivel to where the hot stranger stands with his hands on the back of a stool, chest puffed out, dark eyes narrowed on Decker. He looks undeniably dangerous and scary as hell. A suffocating rush blossoms throughout my chest with the sight of him. Without having to say a word, the man comes off as a legitimate threat that even my dip-shit ex is apparently smart enough to take seriously, because Decker releases me and steps back. “You and I need to have ourselves a talk, so don’t go anywhere,” he whispers. He cuts the stranger an annoyed sneer before leading his minions to the back end of the bar. Shaky, I turn to take the last swig of my fifth beer, giving my nerves a chance to calm. There’s a loud crack of pool balls followed by laughter as Decker and company settle in for the night. Even though I want to get far away from the band of douche-nuggets, going home to my empty apartment seems more depressing, and I feel at ease with both Kory and the stranger nearby. “Want me to have Classon chase them out of here?” Kory asks, popping the top on a fresh beer and setting it in front of me. “I know he’s on duty tonight and the sheriff isn’t.” I shrug and hand Kory my empty bottle. “Don’t bother. I don’t need a reason for Decker to start harassing you too.” “This is bullshit,” Kory mumbles before moving over to serve the town drunk sitting on the other end of the bar. Embarrassed when I realize the stranger most likely heard Decker’s comment about my “snatch”, I swipe beer number six and take a long gulp with my eyes closed. The icy-cold drink does little to take away the heat that has settled in my cheeks or the wave of nausea that ensues whenever Decker is near. “That punk-ass needs to be taught a lesson,” a deliciously low, scratchy voice says at my side. “Are you okay?” Biting back a squeal, my eyes flip open to find the stranger has slid into the seat right next to me. Beautiful, cornflower blue eyes stare into mine, waiting for me to answer. His woodsy scent tickles my senses until I’m sure I’ll melt right off my seat. My body’s so heady with the sight of him that it doesn’t seem like that big of a stretch of the imagination.

Words I couldn't Say blog tour!!

Title: Words I Couldn’t Say
Series: Promise in Prose #1
Author: Tessa Teevan
Release Date: Nov 22, 2016
Genre: Standalone Contemporary Romance

You know the old adage “if you love something, set it free?"
It's the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.
The dumbest thing I've ever done.
I loved her. I lost her. Hell, I let her go. And then spent five miserable years without her.
To cope with the loss, I put pen to paper and wrote her a love story, knowing when she was ready she’d hear the words I couldn’t say all those years ago.
Turned out, not only would she hear them, but when Hollywood came calling, I made sure she got the lead role. After all, no one else could portray the character whom she’d inspired.
Now she's within arms' reach and finally, she'll know the truth in my heart.
Because that other cliché, “Actions speak louder than words?”
I’m going to prove it.
My words may have brought Ava Banks back into my life; I have to be enough to make her stay.
The air around us was silent save for the crickets chirping off in the distance. The cool Cincinnati breeze nipped at my skin while I waited for his reaction. When I’d started writing this novel, it had been an ode to my past love. My past life. But then it’d taken on a life of its own and become so much more. Which had made it that much more poignant. That much harder to fathom the one word that’d been haunting me for years.
Goodbye.
At long last, he turned to the final page and sucked in a breath. My stomach twisted in knots because he was about to read the end. And I didn’t know how he’d interpret it. Half scared he’d tell me that I’d lost my mind and no one would ever want to read this story, especially with that ending.
He didn’t make me wait long. As his head slowly rose, I was taken aback at the tears shining in his usually cheerful eyes. This man, who had always been like a second father to me, had been reduced to tears by my words. My words. Words we both knew for whom they were meant. And, instead of calling me a fool or attempting to kill me, he watched me with tearful appreciation, switching between nodding and shaking his head as if trying to process it all.
I didn’t know how to react, so I simply stared at him, waiting for him to say something. Anything.
He closed the manuscript and set it on the table in front of us before taking a long swig from his whiskey glass. I followed suit and enjoyed the smoky burn that did little to soothe my nerves.
“Jesus Christ,” he muttered, his eyes locking in on mine. “Tucker. You did it. You fucking did it,” he whispered, seemingly unashamed of his emotional display.
I nodded, the same emotion welling up inside me when I remembered the ending of my first novel. So many love stories begin with the girl who got away. Mine wasn’t any different. Not only in my novel, but in real life as well. Ava Banks was, and always would be, that girl for me. But, instead of slipping through my fingers, she’d made the conscious decision to leave. And, like most dumbass men, I’d let her. Hell, I’d pushed her away. I’d regretted it ever since.
But, now, I was hoping like hell I could get the second chance Trevor did. Hoping like hell my story would turn out differently than his. But, either way, I was putting myself out there, as terrifying as that was. She finally, finally would hear the words I couldn’t say all those years ago.
Now, I just had to wait to see what she’d do about it.

my 4 star review

Second chance romance is my favorite kind, and I really enjoy Tessa so this was a win win for me!

She writes such amazing and emotional stories- and i love that. I look forward to her stuff every time i turn the page.
I love the characters in this story- the hero and heroine are clearly in love, and it was amazing to see the journey over the years, from young adults, to adulthood.

Tucker is the hero, and a great one at that, he is the epitome of the words "book boyfriend." and the way he sees Ava throughout the entirety of the story remains true- that she is the one for him.

Ava on the other hand, needs some convincing- and she left him in a pivotal time in his life- that could have made him or broken him. even though it should have broken him, it didn't and he grew stronger and bode his time until it was right to win Ava back

Trust me you won't want to miss t his story from Tessa!!

Deceit blog tour!!

Title: Deceit
Series: The Vindicated Series Book One
Authors: Addison Jane & KE Osborn
Cover Model: Burton Hughes
Photographer: Eric Battershell
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Release Date: November 9, 2016
"Deceit is simply explosive and I loved every minute of it. From beginning to end I was completely captivated."
"Deceit is a exciting read that draws the reader in and keeps you gripped right until the end.”
Covert, stealthy, cunning—I'm trained as a weapon. A lethal killer. I do what needs to be done in order to protect those who can't protect themselves.
I’m never the same person twice.
It’s never been an issue.
But I underestimated her.
The beautiful woman next door. There's something sexy about the way she watches me, eyes wide with an innocent curiosity. I find myself aching for her attention. I want her to look at me, but not when I'm covered in the blood of the man I just killed.
I live in the dark. She could be my light. I want her. And I know she feels it too.
When what I do puts her life in danger, everything changes. And I start to realize that maybe not all is as it seems. Every part of me screams to save her...
But what if I'm wrong.
What if she's the one saving me?
You’d think I’d be nervous, but instead, a rush of excitement flows through me as I traipse the halls of the hospital in my fake scrubs dressed convincingly as a doctor.
I look the part.

I always look the part.

My fake ID badge sits proudly where I want it, allowing me to slip in where I need to be. Flashing my badge to the security guards stationed at the door I walk straight in closing it behind me, just as I knew I would.
I have to do this.

You’d think considering a terrorist attack occurred not so long ago they would be better prepared than this. As long as I look the part, and have the appropriate badge, they’re convinced I am that person.
But I’m not. I’m here for one reason and one reason only, and he’s lying here in this hospital room hooked up to the endlessly beeping machines, pumping oxygen and God knows what else in an inane attempt to keep him alive.

This man is the sole survivor of the attack. I wasn’t able to bring him down then, so my task is to bring him down now.
Sliding the curtain around his bed as I step up to him, the metal rings clink along the railing while my heart races in my chest. Killing is something that comes naturally to me. I’ve done it for so long now it's ingrained in me.
I can’t count the number of men I’ve taken out—all in the name of the Seven.

Alison's 3.5 star review!

"How can something so beautiful be so damn deadly?"

de·ceit
dəˈsēt/
noun
  1. the action or practice of deceiving someone by concealing or misrepresenting the truth

I love a good romantic suspense thriller. I don't read them often enough because most times I find them a little lacking in the thriller part. Sure the author can nail the romance side but often the suspense portion of story seems rushed or like something is lacking. Deceit was a perfect mix of suspense, thriller and sexy. I'm not going to delve into the story line because I hate spoilers and I was glad I knew nothing about it going in.

Kace Colt is dangerous, dark and sexy as sin and everything sweet, innocent Lily should stay away from. She knows he's got secrets but she's drawn to her mysterious brooding neighbor!!

This book is jammed packed with action, suspense, and betrayal.

Addison Jane is a born and bred kiwi girl with a passion for romance and writing.
When she gets the chance she enjoys the little things in life such as reading, dancing, music, and Facebook, but her world really revolves around the little girl who calls her Mum. It’s an awkward balance between alpha males and Disney princesses, but it works. Growing up on a small farm next to the beach will always make her a country girl at heart. But since moving away to a small town close to the city, she’s discovered a dangerous love for shopping. Writing stories has been something that’s come naturally since she was young, and with the massive support of her friends and family, she finally decided to step out of her comfort zone and share them with the world. She enjoys bringing her books to life with strong female leads, sexy, passionate men and a rollercoaster of twists and turns that lead to the happily ever after that her readers desire.
Australian author K E Osborn was born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia. With a background in graphic design and a flair for all things creative, she felt compelled to write the story brewing in her mind.
Writing gives her life purpose. It makes her feel, laugh, cry and get completely enveloped in the characters and their story lines. She feels completely at home when writing and wouldn’t consider doing anything else.
