About BABY IT’S COLD OUTSIDE Anthology:
Outside it may be frosty, so turn the heat way up with these stories of desire!
Can a determined woman executive and a playboy billionaire survive being stranded together in a snowstorm? Jennifer Probst depicts an encounter almost too hot to handle…
Drew and Kate play an encore to Tangled in this sexy take on a “Christmas Carol” by Emma Chase. When a Christmas Eve argument condemns Drew to a troubled night, three dream women teach him that no gift could be more tantalizing than Kate…
With Kristen Proby, ski slopes are quite delightful. Grace Douglas is sure she’ll never learn to ski, but instructor Jacob Baxter could teach her lessons of a different kind…
Can a southern California transplant survive Montana’s deep snows? Melody Anne, author of the bestselling Andersons series, melts the icy drifts completely away with the heat between sexy Hawk Winchester and brand-new teacher Natalie Duncan…
What could be hotter than a firefighter? Kate Meader shows how hot it can get as Beck Rivera and heiress-turned-tattoo-artist Darcy Cochrane discover that nothing ignites holiday flames like rekindling a lost love…
I was so excited and honored to receive an advanced copy of Baby It’s Cold Outside. Some of my most favorite authors were included- Jennifer Probst, Kristen Proby and Emma Chase, but I also got to read some new authors stories, and they were amazing too (Melody Anne and KateMeader) Of course these books were super short- they are novellas! But they also packed the punch of a full blown romance story, and the steam was enough to keep you warm on a cold winter day. Overall, a five star read for me!
Searching for You – by Jennifer Probst
From the Tangled series- Emma Chase wrote a holiday romance featuring Drew’s badassery and Kate snarkiness. I loved this one. It was a play on Scrooge and how he was visited by three ghosts, to show Drew what is really important in his life. Drew and Kate are going to celebrate Christmas, but Drew is trying to close a deal on Christmas Eve. It kind of made me mad, but I mean, hello- it is Drew we are talking about here!! Emma Chase did a great job of telling a sweet Christmas story about Drew and Kate. We have the smart mouth Drew, and the Sassy Kate, that we all know and love. I loved seeing them as a couple, and loved seeing them as parents. It was a great little view into the Tangled series.
Saving Grace – By Kristen Proby
This is my favorite one from the anthology. It follows the characters from the Love Under the Big Sky series; Cara and Lo’s friend Grace- who is a super klutz. She is sent to a ski resort to learn how to ski, before the girls go on a bachelorette party for the recently engaged Cara and Lo. When she gets there she is in awe of everything the resort has to offer- and she mistakes the resorts billionaire owner- for a ski instructor. Jacob “Bax” Baxter plays off the ski instructor introductions, because he is intrigued by her personality and stunned by her beauty. Grace soon sees her mistake, and is a little upset, but she ends up giving in to the obvious attraction and spends the night with Bax. I love them together- I think they are both meant to be with one another. I love how Grace was not graceful at all, and I love how Bax just wanted to take care of her. I hope to see more of them in the next novel in Kristen’s series!
Safe in His Arms – By Melody Anne
California born and raised Natalie Duncan is going to be Sterling Wyoming’s newest teacher- and when she steps off the plane, she is blown away- almost literally. It is freezing and snowing in Wyoming, they likes of which she has never seen. Needless to say she is unprepared! Hawk Winchester is a bachelor in this small town, and everyone has his sights set on him. He does not date inside of the town- until he meets Natalie and is intrigued. Its almost as if fate has thrown them together- or some meddling matchmakers. Natalie doesn’t feel like she belongs and to make matters worse, she seems to be falling for Hawk, who is not in her plan! This was definitely a fun, flirty cute read- and I would love to read any of the books in her Anne Anderson series that go along with it.
Rekindle the Flame – by Kate Meader (Three and a half stars)
Heiress Darcy Cochrane is sort of considered a black sheep, in her family that is. She would rather be a tattoo artist. Fire-fighter Beck Rivera would rather be out fighting fires, but instead he is in his family’s bar slinging drinks over the holidays when Darcy’s blows in like the winter wind.
A while back Beck was the one who broke poor Darcy’s heart. She then left him and went off to college to pursue what her father wanted her to do, when she realized that wasn’t going to give her the life she wanted. And when she runs into Beck, she doesn’t quite forget how she felt from the last time they were together. But this time its Darcy breaking hearts, when after a little shack up session in the bar has Darcy running for the hills. But this time Beck has to find her and give this relationship a go. I really liked this story from Kate and I look forward to what she has planned in the future!

Searching for You – by Jennifer Probst
Jennifer Probst has a series called the “Searching For.” And
in this novella we get to hear about Riley Fox, and Dylan McCray. Riley Fox is
very successful- but, she also wants more. Her clock is ticking and when she
sees a mother soothing her child, it kicks into hyperdrive. Dylan McCray is a
billionaire playboy, he has a reputation with the ladies, but he really does want
nothing more than to settle down. Riley and Dylan are signed up with a
matchmaking agency called “Kinnection”. Riley wants to find the ultimate man,
to fit all of her requirements and into a nice little box. Dylan wants to leave
his playboy ways behind and be with someone who ignites a spark inside of him. It
just so happens that Dylan and Riley knew each other in college and fought all
the time, but they had passion for what they believed in. they get snowed in
together- when brutal weather strikes, and they find out that Kinnection has
paired them together. But there has to be a mistake because Riley would never
date Dylan, but Dylan is starting to believe in fate- that he was handed a
chance for something more. I loved this
second chance story, and I think I will have to add the Searching for series to
my TBR!
