My 4 star review of The Science of Attraction
This is my first Verity Jacobs book, and it won’t be my
last. It was well written, and super witty. I really enjoyed the plot and the development
of the characters was great.
Kate is a scientist at a research facility in Germany. She
is actually the head of the lab, which is uncommon for someone so young. But I really
enjoyed her spirit. She is actually having an affair with the director of this
facility, which is totally taboo and not allowed.
Rob is the director of the research facility and he is the
one having the affair with Kate, he makes it clear that what they have is just
a booty call. They can’t even be seen with one another as a couple because they
could both get into big trouble.
But then there is Tom, the new guy, the Harvard- who
unfortunately is also a big no-no! He is going to work with Kate- but then the
time spent is trying to fight this intense attraction that they feel towards
one another.
The sparks fly in this romance, and I really enjoyed it and
can’t wait to read more from Verity. I was given an ARC for an honest review.
