My 4 star review of Ready or Not
Ready or Not is the fourth book in the Ready series. And I have
to say- JL Berg is such a fantastic novelist, I was so glad to receive this
book of this awesome set of characters.
Liv was in Ready for You, and she was Mia’s friend. She then
meets Jackson, the hero- swoon. And his son, Noah- in her office. Liv is a
counselor, but then she also finds out they will be her new neighbors. I really
liked Liv- she was super sweet, and also really sassy, which I loved! She has
no desire to settle down at all, not that I can blame her. She is young and she
definitely has trust issues, maybe that a sexy new neighbor might be able to
help her out with that!
Jackson is a single dad to Noah, and also a lawyer. He is
damn sexy- I loved him! I thought he was super sweet, and also had an alpha
male edge. He was the total package. And when the two of these characters got
together- totally fire engine red hot!! I loved the interactions they had
together. They had the best sense of humor. They were meant to be for one
another- I could see it even if they couldn’t!
This book brought back the couples from the other books in
this awesome series. I loved it! I was so glad to see Mia and Garrett, Leah and
Declan, and of course Clare and Logan- where it all began! I really liked all
the secondary characters- obviously, I knew them all! I really did love the
addition of Jackson’s son, Noah. It was nice to see the bonding that certainly
happened between him and Liv. And it was told in dual point of view, which is
also one of my favorites.
I really loved this story and I was happy to
provide my honest review in exchange for a review copy. Keep the hits coming
