Two people from completely different worlds are about to be thrown together…
In more ways than one.
She wants to keep her scholarship. He wants to stay on the team. An awkward alliance doesn’t even begin to cover Rimmel and Romeo’s relationship.
But that’s about to change.
It starts with a dare. An initiation. A challenge.
Quickly, it turns into more. But when you’re a victim of your status, there is no room for anything real. The rules are clear and simple.
Stick to your circle.
Cambria Hebert is a bestselling novelist of more than twenty books. She went to college for a bachelor’s degree, couldn’t pick a major, and ended up with a degree in cosmetology. So rest assured her characters will always have good hair.
Besides writing, Cambria loves a caramel latte, staying up late, sleeping in, and watching movies. She considers math human torture and has an irrational fear of chickens (yes, chickens). You can often find her running on the treadmill (she’d rather be eating a donut), painting her toenails (because she bites her fingernails), or walking her chorkie (the real boss of the house).
Cambria has written within the young adult and new adult genres, penning many paranormal and contemporary titles. Her favorite genre to read and write is romantic suspense. A few of her most recognized titles are: Text, Torch, Tryst, Masquerade, and Recalled.

My 4 star review of #Nerd by Cambria Hebert
Let me preface this by saying, I love Cambria! Her Take it
Off series, is one of my favorites- and I love the fast paced, twists and turns
she always has in those books. So when I was offered a chance to read a new
series from her, in exchange for an honest review- I jumped at the chance! Something
different- new and exciting from a fantastic author- and I was not
disappointed. #RomeoandRimmel4ever !
I just loved Rimmel’s character. Typical bookish girl- that
hides behind her clothes, her hair- anything so she doesn’t have to be noticed.
I think a lot of people could really identify with her. Cambria hints a
something about her- and why she is the way she is, but you will just have to
read it to find out. She is studying to become a Vetranarian at her college,
and has a scholarship; she volunteers at the animal clinic near campus- and
loves it. However, in order to keep her scholarship, she must take on and tutor
the star of the football team at their college, Romeo Anderson.
Ah, Romeo- Romeo, where for art thou Romeo- apparently he is
hiding at Alpha U, and is their biggest star, everyone loves him- even me! I loved
his character, but he desperately needs to pass all of his classes in order to
keep his spot on the football team, and his chances of rushing his father’s
fraternity intact. The only catch is- the president of the Omegas, loathes
Romeo- making it harder for him to get in as just a legacy.
To everyone else- she’s just a #Nerd, but to him- she is
everything. To everyone else- he’s just a #DumbJock, but to her- he CHANGES
everything. They have chemistry that’s off the charts, and can’t be explained-
it just is. And when you fall, you fall hard- no explanation necessary. Romeo
wants to prove everyone wrong, he wants to show Rimmel she is beautiful and
worth it, and Rimmel just might let him.
As always- in books, there is conflict- and people who are
trying to ruin what they have- ruin Romeo’s reputation. And completely delete
Rimmel off the map. Good think about Cambria is there is always an HEA, for
now. this book is a to be continued variety- note, I didn’t say cliffhanger- because it wasn’t
really written in that fashion, there was a promise for more though. I can’t wait
for the next installment in the hashtag series from Cambria called #Hater.
